Series Review: My Hero Academia S3 – Episode 7

Episode 7 – “What a Twist!”

The Pro Heroes and Hero-wannabes continue to fall prey, for the umpteenth time, to a ragtag group of Choco-Morphs and a Hematomaniac Fangirl. Worst. Summer. Ever.

so cute

The pro- and an-tagonists word-vomit every iota of information regarding their respective strategies, this time ending with the Magician getting the balls knocked out of his mouth. Alas, Bakugo meets a cruel fate: captured in a Poké Ball by a Vegas Entertainer, trapped in said Entertainer’s slobber-cave, briefly freed, then throat-dragged into the nether-realm by Staple Face.

The “Marvel Rejects in a Forest” arc ends in “utter failure” for the Heroes-in-training (thanks to everyone talking too much and All Might taking a bubble bath instead of helping).

Indeed, the Villains’ utter noob-stomping of the U.A. Academites paints the educational institution in an embarrassing light. Who could’ve predicted that villains would assault a gaggle of poor, innocent All Might-less Hero-kids in the woods! Meanies!

The AniMessenger breathes a sigh of relief–inhaling the non-woodland air once again. With the hit-and-miss “Summer Camp from Hell” saga behind us, MHA poises itself for greatness once again. What more could fans want? All Might’s return, a fiery damsel in distress, and a troupe of battle-hardened quirk-mongrels! The only thing that could rain on this parade is a–

  1. This episode was pretty fun! I honestly think what is going to happen next with Bakugo will be just like The Flying Dutchman taking Songebob to Davy Jone’s Locker after Mr. Krabs sold him out for 62 cents. Shortly after, The Flying Dutchman returns Spongebob because he just can’t stand him and his personality and concludes that he is Mr. Krab’s problem now. But instead of returning Bakugo to All Might or something, they’ll probably just try to off him “sleeping with the fishes style” and before that happens, Deku and the rest of his class will try and rescue him. xD Probably successfully. 🙂

I’m not sure if you remember that particular Spongebob scene or episode, but that scene from Spongebob is what immediately popped up in my head when I thought of the Handsy Villain trying to talk to Bakugo about possibly becoming a villain. xD From the preview of the next episode, it seems that Bukugo does not seem to be cooperating. : P

We shall see what happens next! 😀

    1. Haha, oh yes, I remember that SB episode. You are so right–I can totally see that happening! I don’t foresee the situation ending without some charred bodies 😅

      1. I have been reading the manga lately as well to catch up and I am in reach of where the anime is currently at, so by this week, I should see what happens with Bakugo and the villains before Saturday. 🙂

But knowing how the Handsy Villain is a stickler with manners, Bakugo may not be a good “fit” for his League of Evil. 😛 I predict some disposing is done in the near future. xD
